Beginning January 1st, 2018: The Illinois Supreme Court will require electronic filing (e-filing) for civil cases in the Illinois Supreme, Appellate and Circuit Courts. All civil cases shall be e-filed in the Jersey County circuit office beginning at that date. Learn more at http://efile.illinoiscourts.gov/

It is the mission of the Circuit Clerk's Office to serve the citizens of Jersey County and the participants of the judiciary system in a timely and cost-effective manner, providing all court records, information and services with courtesy, efficiency and impartially.

The Office of the Clerk of the Circuit Court is responsible for maintaining a record of all traffic, civil and criminal cases filed and heard in Jersey County.

Due to financial situation brought on by the State of Illinois & other economic factors, the courthouse will be closing at noon on Fridays until further notice.

Per the policy of Jersey County Board, we will no longer receive Lincoln's Birthday as a holiday, but will receive Christmas Eve instead.
